Stopovers with drinking water and a dump point
As of August 27, 2026, 1,262 of the 3,621 motorhome stopovers on FreeCampMaps (35%) have drinking water confirmed by their source, and 1,652 (46%) have a confirmed dump point for grey water and toilet waste.
What it means on the road
Confirmed means the source record says yes. Most of the rest are simply not recorded, which is not the same as missing, so a stopover without a tick may still have a tap. Do not count on one you have not seen confirmed.
Plan the service stop separately from the overnight stop. The dump station finder puts every confirmed dump point on one map.

How this is counted
- Counted: the 3,621 motorhome stopovers on FreeCampMaps, meaning aires, Stellplätze and sostas. Danish shelters and tent sites are left out because they are not set up for vehicles.
- Only a record that says yes counts as yes. 2,209 records say nothing about water and 1,797 say nothing about a dump point. Those are counted as not recorded, never as no. A record whose source says there is none counts as no.
- A dump point here is a place to empty grey water or a chemical toilet.
