The rules layer

Where you can legally sleep outside.

Wild camping, right to roam and bivouac law, read from the official text and dated. These pages carry no coordinates: the map covers officially designated places, and the law is a different kind of answer from a pin.

01 · By framework

One page per legal regime.

Split by the regime that governs, not by country. "Legal in Scotland" and "legal in Loch Lomond" are different claims, so they are different pages.

02 · Why there are no pins here

Rules are a zone, not a coordinate.

Wild camping is covered on this site as law and as zones: what a statute or an access code permits, where, and under what conditions. It never gets a pin. Publishing the location of somewhere that depends on being quiet and unvisited is how it stops being either, and the schema these pages are built on has no latitude or longitude fields at all.

What does get coordinates is a place a named body designated: a commune, a Gemeinde, a comune, a municipality, a federal agency. Those are on the map, each one carrying the source that designates it.
