03 · The write-up

What it is like to arrive here.

Free to park, and the electricity is metered. That split is the normal German arrangement: standing costs nothing, the machine charges for what you fill and empty. Carry 1 and 2 euro coins, because plenty of these machines still take nothing else.

This is a Wohnmobilstellplatz, a spot set aside for motorhomes to park. The record gives 12 spaces, so it is big enough that you are unlikely to be turned away outside peak weekends.

The posted limit is 3 days. German Gemeinden do enforce these, usually with a Parkscheibe, the blue parking disc you set to your arrival time and leave on the dashboard.

On site: an electric hook-up. Recorded as not here: a waste drain. Nothing is recorded either way about drinking water, toilets and showers, so do not count on them.

The official page for this site is linked below and was checked 2026-07-22. Open it before a long detour, and remember that the board at the entrance and the Gemeinde’s current word beat any listing, this one included.
