This is an area di sosta, a stopover set aside for motorhomes, at Vernio. Comune di Vernio is the body behind it.
No services are listed either way. Arrive with a full water tank and an empty waste tank, and treat anything you find on site as a bonus. An area di sosta promises somewhere to park. It does not promise water.
No stay limit published. One or two nights is the norm at a municipal sosta, and a van that looks settled in is the one that gets a knock on the door.

That comes from Comune di Vernio’s page, which carried a last-updated date of 2025-07-18 when it was read on 2026-07-22. The sign at the entrance and the comune’s current word beat this page, every time: an ordinanza can be rewritten between one season and the next, and nobody sends us a copy.
